Ross-on-Wye: Course open - Stage 1 - All buggies and trolleys permitted
In the wooded hills above the Wye Valley sits one of the finest courses in the West Midlands, the Ross On Wye Golf Club. Carefully designed around the contours of the land, this stunning woodlands course has remained untouched since its original design in 1960 and continues to be a favourite among golf lovers.
“One Of A Kind” states Ryder Cup captain and Honorary member Brian Huggett. Classically designed through the established Oak trees it puts emphasis on placement and precision for all golfing abilities. The stunning woodland design places a premium on finesse, imagination and shot making, rather than strength.
While ROWGC loves welcoming guests, the very best experience is reserved for its members. Here are just some of the reasons to join:
Located in a county so famous for its food, it’s little surprise that the ROWGC takes enormous pride in its restaurant. From Herefordshire beef sandwiches to Gin Cocktails from the local Penhros Distillery, you’ll always have something to look forward to on the 18th green.
